Cool Wines Club is our wine pop-up dedicated to discovering and sharing approachable, characterful wines that deserve attention but simply don't fit on Vila 63’s regular wine list.
Every summer Wednesday, you can enjoy a glass, two, or even a whole bottle, carefully selected by Chris and Kris, in the magical setting of Garden 65, beneath the shade of the trees.
Christian Černoch
Chris has been part of our crew since the very beginning and now serves as its Café Manager. Among many other things, he is responsible for curating the wine and drinks list. His passion for wine and craft spirits goes back more than a decade, much like his love of coffee. He started at the legendary Café Lounge, continued his journey through Autentista, and eventually found his way to Café Jen. He co-created the wine delivery project Studio Losos and later organised two editions of Wine Fest in Garden 65. Every bottle of wine served at Vila 63 passes through Chris’s hands, and Cool Wines Club is very much his creation. His approach to wine is relaxed, playful, and approachable — because, in his view, wine should be enjoyed, not taken too seriously.
Kristýna Moravcová
You may have met Kris at Vila 63 during the previous season, but many people know her best from her seven years at the renowned wine bar Veltlin in Karlín. She feels right at home among Moravian and Slovak winemakers and has played an important role in helping many of them gain recognition on the Prague wine scene. Kris is also the founder of Red Lips Collective, an initiative focused on supporting and connecting women in hospitality. Another important chapter of her career was her time at Landcraft, the craft distillery known for its vermouths, herbal spirits, and innovative circular approach to distilling.
What Wines Are We Exploring?
The theme of each pop-up changes with the mood, the season, and sometimes even the weather. One week we might focus on sparkling wines, another on a specific wine region. Occasionally, the winemaker behind the bottles joins us in person to share their story and their craft.
The one thing that never changes? The wines are always cool.
All featured wines come from small, family-run wineries across Europe that work with respect for their vineyards, their grapes, and the land they cultivate.
Good to Know
When?
During the summer months — every Wednesday from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM.
In case of bad weather, the event may be rescheduled. Please follow Vila 63’s Instagram for the latest updates.
Where?
Outdoors in Garden 65, the garden located right next to Vila 63.
During the event, the two gardens are connected, so you can easily walk through the grounds of Vila 63 to reach Garden 65. You can also enter directly through the gate on Hradešínská Street.
How Does It Work?
At Garden 65, you'll find our wine stand, where all wines are available by the glass or by the bottle. Card payments are preferred.
Food & Facilities?
You're welcome to bring food or other drinks from Vila 63 and enjoy them in Garden 65 during the event.
Restrooms are located inside Vila 63.
Everyone is welcome at the pop-up. Come by for a glass and you may leave with a new favourite wine.
